LF Class Forklift Licence For Beginners And Experienced Operators
Forklift Licence Melbourne matches students with Registered Training Organisations and training centres affiliated with RTO’s who provide forklift training programs for both beginners and experienced operators. Depending on your experience, our partners offer course from one day up to five day forklift training for beginners. For students with little or no forklift operator experience, it is recommended that you complete at least a two day forklift training course. The courses offered by select RTO’s are designed for those who are interested in obtaining a nationally recognised LF Class Forklift Licence.

Forklift Training Availability
You will be matched with RTO’s that are available Monday through to Saturday.
Additionally, some training centres run weekend training sessions from time to time. Please contact the RTO for further information once you are matched.
Forklift Training Duration:
One or Two day programs full time.
- Pre Requirements For Forklift Licencing And Training:
- Must be at least 18 years of age (Otherwise have an exemption from Worksafe Victoria)
- Good level of both written and spoken English
- 100 Points of ID
For all forklift training courses, students are sent the theory materials before coming in for the practical forklift training at the centre. Students are required to thoroughly read over the study guide and understand the questions and answers to the 97 questions prior to arriving for the practical training.
